my birth experience

My first birthing experience would be when I was 17 yrs old I was scared and nervous but I remember what my grandmother told me to not scream and act a fool because the more I did that the worse the pain was going to be.
My second birthing experience would be the birth of my son now this is a funny one. I went into labor around 6am so I went to the hospital. I was in labor until 4 something that evening. I felt like i had to push but the father of my child and the nurse informed me not too. Of course, when a baby is ready to come into the world they are ready but they insisted that I wait on the doctor to arrive. Ok we both showed them I gave one BIG PUSH and the nurse had to come catch him like a football because if she had not he would have hit the floor.
My last birthing experience was complicated because my daughter was a stubborn child. Out of all of them she gave me the most problems. I had to be on bed rest and not work while pregnant with her. but the day she was born she wanted to come into the world breech but luckily she turned around and like my son the doctor was no where to be found. And when the nurses knew it i had delivered her myself....
The country that I read about was Africa and how they have midwives and how they
  •  believe in honoring and embracing what is most valuable and personal about traditional midwifery and marrying it with the best of what modern technology can offer them.

Ethics of the NAEYC AND DEC

    THE NAEYC:

P-1.5 We shall be familiar with the symptoms of child abuse and neglect and know and follow
community procedures and state laws that protect children against abuse and
    neglect.

P-1.6—when we have evidence of child abuse or neglect, we shall report the evidence to the appropriate community agency and follow up to ensure that appropriate action has been taken. When
    possible, parents will be informed
P-2.3—We shall inform families of and, when appropriate, involve them in policy decisions.

    THE DEC:

    1. We shall demonstrate our respect and concern for children, families, colleagues, and others with
Whom we work, honoring their beliefs, values, customs, languages, and culture.

    2. We shall recognize ourresponsibility to improve the developmental outcomes of children and to
provide services and supports in a fair and equitable manner to all families and children.

    3. We shall recognize and respect the dignity, diversity, and autonomy of the families and children
    we serve.

why i chose these ethics is that we should always have the childs best interest at heart. and that we should always have respect for them and their parents no matter what the situations might be.

    HILLARY CLINTON

When I am talking about "It Takes a Village", I'm obviously not talking just about or
even primarily about geographical villages any longer, but about the network of
relationships and values that do connect us and binds us together.
No government can love a child, and no policy can substitute for a family's care. But at the same time, government can either support or undermine families as they cope with moral, social and
economic stresses of caring for children.

For too long we’ve been told about ‘us’ and ‘them.’ Each and every election we see a new
slate of arguments and ads telling us that ‘they’ are the problem, not ‘us.’
But there can be no ‘them’ in America. There’s only ‘us.’
