Babies have a sucking reflex that
enables them to suck and swallow milk. Most mothers can breastfeed for six months or more without the addition of infant formula or solid food. Human breast milk is the healthiest form of milk for human babies.

I picked breastfeeding because i can relate to this one. when i had my older two children i gave them formula eventhough i didnt know how to breastfeed them at the time they were fussy and kept colds. but when i had my youngest daughter a lady at the WIC talked me into breastfeeding her at first of was a little afraid but after she was born i said what the heck. i enjoyed it because i had less bottles to fix she wasnt fussy and i could just lay her beside me at night let her nurse while i slept. i no that it might sound like i was lazy but in the end i really wasnt because i was able to get my rest for work and have a close bond with her. and as of today she is 13 she has never been sick and she is real smart.
I also picked breastfeeding in Islam they breastfeed their children up to two years old.....
nourish their minds, bodies and souls with her milk for a period of two years.
Her reward for this is so great that if she dies during this period she dies
with the status of martyr. In an age when we see many women choosing to feed their
we should make an effort to educate ourselves about the unique benefits of
breastfeeding so that wed not deprive ourselves and our children of this extraordinary
woman's milk is uniquely suited to meet the needs of heron baby. For example,
the milk will be richer in the event of premature birth, helping the baby to
make up for his small size. The composition of the milk also changes from
feeding to feeding and as the baby grows in order to meet the baby's nutritional
needs at each stage of his development. In addition, breastmilkcontains at
least 100 ingredients and nutrients not found in formula, and these are
essential in providing immunities to disease, protection against allergies and
prevention against ear infections, digestive disorders and various other
ailments common among bottle-fed children. Cow's milk, on the other hand,
contains high concentrations of proteins and hormones which are necessary for
baby cows to grow normally but which are too rough for a human baby's delicate
system. <span style="color: #333333; font-family: "Times New Roman", "serif"; font-size: 12pt;">If this is not enough motivation, breastfeeding is also good for mothers. In the days immediately following birth, the baby's suckling helps the mother’s uterus to contract to
its normal size. Many women do not get pregnant while breastfeeding (although a
small percentage do), so this serves as a natural method of birth control and
way of spacing apart children. Breastfeeding women typically regain their
pre-pregnancy figures more quickly than other women and are much less prone to
breast cancer later in life. Breastfeeding saves money (you never need to buy
special equipment), and soling as the baby is feeding regularly and
enthusiastically and growing at the rate appropriate for his age, you never
need to worry about how much you are feeding him because he will determine the
right amount of milk to drink on his own. <span style="color: #333333; font-family: "Times New Roman", "serif"; font-size: 12pt;">Some women express
their breast milk and store it in the refrigerator so that other caretakers can
be assigned to feed their babies with the aid of bottles. While these babies
get some of the nutritional goodness of their mothers' milk, they miss out on
all the emotional and psychological comforts of breastfeeding which are just as
important as the physical benefits. The act of breastfeeding creates a special
bond between mother and child as it requires the mother to embrace her child
several times each day. The babies, in turn, find comfort in their mothers'
My second birthing experience would be the birth of my son now this is a funny one. I went into labor around 6am so I went to the hospital. I was in labor until 4 something that evening. I felt like i had to push but the father of my child and the nurse informed me not too. Of course, when a baby is ready to come into the world they are ready but they insisted that I wait on the doctor to arrive. Ok we both showed them I gave one BIG PUSH and the nurse had to come catch him like a football because if she had not he would have hit the floor.
My last birthing experience was complicated because my daughter was a stubborn child. Out of all of them she gave me the most problems. I had to be on bed rest and not work while pregnant with her. but the day she was born she wanted to come into the world breech but luckily she turned around and like my son the doctor was no where to be found. And when the nurses knew it i had delivered her myself....
The country that I read about was Africa and how they have midwives and how they
My grandmother was like a mother and a father to me because I was a product of rape and my mother wasn’t able to take care of me. So she stepped in to make sure I received the best care possible. She could’ve given me up for adoption but she felt that God wanted me here so she wasn’t going to allow me to be with anyone else.
Why I chose my aunts and uncles are because they are like my sisters and brothers without them I wouldn’t have the knowledge and balance. They keep me grounded. On another not I have two favorite cousins one of them is 9 months older than me and the other one is 15 years older than I am. To describe them are somehow one in the same. We communicate almost every day we laugh together and cry together. They will give their last to me if I needed it. They all encourage me to strive for my dreams and know that without God in your life nothing is possible.
Last but not least, omg my children are..... My kids are my WORLD!!! Even though sometimes they work my nerves but I LOVE THEM TO DEATH.....My children keep me level headed and they are my backbone they keep me grounded. They allow me follow my dreams...... they talk to me about anything that is affecting their lives on a daily bases and I always have a listening ear to hear and understand their problem.
